Fresh off slipping the green jacket on 2015 Masters Champion Jordan Spieth, 2-time Masters Champion Bubba Watson flew halfway around the world to Shenzhen, China. This is Bubba’s first trip back to China since his victory at the WGC-HSBC Champions last November and his presence in the inauguaral Shenzhen International certainly gives the tournament a higher profile.
With golf returning to the Rio Olympics in 2016, China has slowly begun its quest for global golf domination. Many would agree that with its population and growing economy, China is the next region for the growth of golf.
