There was a lot of great golf over the weekend, especially playoff golf! The RBC Heritage on the PGA TOUR, Shenzhen International on the European Tour and LOTTE Championship on the LPGA TOUR all went to extra holes to determine the winner. At the LOTTE Championship though, we were given a dramatic finish.
South Korea’s Sei Young Kim, 22-years-old, chipped in on the final hole of regulation to force a playoff with Inbee Park at 11-under par, then she holes out for eagle on the first playoff hole to win the tournament! Kim hit an 8-iron from 154 yards out that just cleared the water, bounced twice and rolled in. This is Kim’s second victory on the LPGA TOUR – her first coming in only her second start at the Pure Silk-Bahamas in February. She is the first player to win two titles this year. Take a look at her clutch golf shots above!
