Rory McIlroy may be the number one ranked golfer in the world but as he declared at the 2014 Open Championship, he’s an avid fan of football (soccer) and the Manchester United. In the first Circular Soccer Showdown of 2015, Rory McIlroy was able to show some of his football skills on the pitch, going head to head with fellow Northern Irish actor, model, and musician Jamie Dornan.
Circular Soccer is a new soccer game and training aid that aims to “encourage players at all levels to think faster, react quicker under pressure, be more competitive and add new skills to their game.” In the showdown, Rory certainly shows that he not only has talent on the golf course but he also has some skills on the football pitch.
