Martin Kaymer is a two-time Major Championship winner, having won the 2010 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits and the US Open last year at Pinehurst No.2. However, Martin is still looking for his first Green Jacket and his quest begins this week at the 2015 Masters.
Although Martin was the number 1 ranked golfer in the world, he felt he could not play Augusta National Golf Club the way he wanted to. Martin began remodeling his swing with his coach, incorporating a more consistent draw. With more shots in his arsenal and a practice round with fellow German Bernhard Langer, Martin Kaymer may just be well-equipped to earn his first Green Jacket! He’ll have some work to do the rest of the week though after opening the first round with a 4-over 76.
