At just 17 years old, Lydia Ko is number 1 in the Women’s World Golf Rankings. However, Lydia remains the same down-to-earth girl who burst onto golf scene a few years ago. This was apparent when we saw her in the recent video with Izzy Dagg, showing their support for the Black Caps’ Cricket World Cup campaign.
As her popularity grows, the media demands more of Lydia’s time and ahead of the 2015 Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic, Lydia is featured in its promotional video. As the defending champion, Lydia “makes the most scenic birdie ever in San Francisco” to show us around town. The tournament will be held from April 20-26 but in the meantime, Lydia will be paired with Lexi Thompson this week as she tries to win her first Major Championship as the world No.1 at the ANA Inspiration.
