With windy conditions all week at TPC San Antonio, scores were high but it was two Texans who ended up dueling it out at the end. Playing in his hometown event at the 2015 Valero Texas Open, Jimmy Walker was able to hold off fellow Texan Jordan Spieth to earn a 4-shot victory.
This marks Jimmy Walker’s fifth career victory and his second in the young PGA Tour season, having won the Sony Open just a few months ago. This victory also allows Jimmy to remain at the top of the FedEx Cup standings as the PGA Tour heads to the Shell Houston Open next week, the last tournament before the year’s first Major Championship at Augusta.
