The 2015 Valspar Championship concluded in dramatic fashion today as Jordan Spieth defeated Patrick Reed and Sean O’Hair in a three-man playoff to claim his second PGA Tour victory. It was a day that began with a very crowded leaderboard with Ryan Moore at the top as the leader entering the final round. A few untimely bogeys led to him missing the playoff by two strokes.
This was the eighth playoff in the young PGA Tour season and it was full of everything golf fans would want. From back nine charges to birdie putts and incredible par saves, it was certainly an unforgettable day of golf. Jordan Spieth shot a final round of 2-under 69 to finish at a total of 10-under, earning him a spot in the sudden death playoff. On the third playoff hole, Jordan was able to hit a 28-foot putt to emerge victorious.
