A few days ago, we took a look at two of the top golf course designers in Tom Fazio and Pete Dye. These days, many former and current players are diving into the business of course designs, including Tiger Woods (El Cardonal at Diamante and Bluejack National) and Ben Crenshaw, who works with Bill Coore (Cabot Cliffs and the restored Pinehurst No.2).
In Part Two of the CNN Living Golf series, we hear from 2014 European Ryder Cup Captain Paul McGinley on his philosophy on golf course design as he talks about redesigning a golf course in northern Portugal. We also head to Malaysia to visit with the Big Easy, Ernie Els, who overcame the challenges of course building in a jungle as he was on hand for the opening of the Els Club Teluk Datai!
