Tiger Woods: Bluejack National Course Preview

Tiger Woods returned to competitive golf during his Hero World Challenge with a “new, but old” swing. Although it was great to see him back, his game was difficult to watch as he showed visible signs of rust. This rust continued into his next starts at the Waste Management Phoenix Open (MC) and at the Farmers Insurance Open (WD). Knowing his game was not in the right place, Tiger took time off again to ensure he will be prepared for tournament golf by the season’s first Major, The Masters.

Although he hasn’t been playing much, that doesn’t mean he has not been involved in the sport of golf. Earlier in the year, his first ever golf course design, Diamante Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, opened to the public for play with great reviews. The second course by Tiger Woods Design that is set to open is Bluejack National in Montgomery, Texas, the first to open in the United States. Bluejack National is set to open in October 2015 and features not just a par-72 golf course, but an area called “The Playgrounds” for friends, family and kids to enjoy high-quality short-game practice.

The Tiger Woods-designed layout will accentuate the natural beauty of Bluejack’s undulating terrain, while offering a unique playability that will appeal to a wide range of players. Featuring a single cut of Zoysia grass, no rough, and a variety of shot-making options, Bluejack National will have an unmatched playing experience. Hear from Tiger and get a sneak peek at the course in the preview video above.
