There were some great golf tournaments around the world this weekend. Dustin Johnson won the WGC-Cadillac Championship, Alex Cejka won his first PGA TOUR event at the Puerto Rico Open and on the LPGA TOUR, Inbee Park claimed her 13th career title at the HSBC Women’s Champions in Singapore at Sentosa Golf Club.
It was a battle between some of the top women golfers in the world. Inbee Park, Lydia Ko and Stacy Lewis all teed off together in the final group on Sunday with Park holding a two shot lead over Ko. Park would finish the tournament at 15-under par, two shots clear of World Number 1 Lydia Ko and four shots clear of World Number 3 Stacy Lewis. Perhaps the most amazing statistic from the tournament though is that Park did not record a single bogey the entire week! Perhaps the bet with her father, ($500 if she made birdie and double, $1000 if she made bogey) gave her extra incentive this week though!
