Player Profile: Padraig Harrington

2,395 days passed before Padraig Harrington would return to the winner’s circle on the PGA TOUR. His last victory on the PGA TOUR was the 2008 PGA Championship. Since then, Harrington went through swing changes and could never really get back his top form. But every golfer will tell you success is the product of hard work – Harrington practiced his craft relentlessly and came full circle winning the 2015 Honda Classic, the first PGA TOUR tournament he won 10 years earlier.

Harrington could have easily called it a career, but the 43-year-old didn’t have any quit in him. He went into the Honda Classic ranked 297 in the world, but with a lot of confidence due to his win a few months earlier at the Indonesian Open on the Asian Tour. Golf wasn’t always a priority for Harrington though, as you’ll find out in the video above. Watch as Golfing World sits down with the three time Major Champion for a revealing chat, who would never have imagined his career to have turned out the way it has.
