Michelle Wie has been in the spotlight since she was labeled a golf prodigy growing up in Honolulu, Hawaii. She turned professional shortly before her 16th birthday but her struggles in the sport of golf has been well documented. It was not until last year at the 2014 US Women’s Open at the restored Pinehurst No.2 that Michelle was finally able to live up to her expectations when she won her first Major Championship!
Being a Major Champion has its perks and that would certainly include more exposure from the media. As a native of Hawaii, it’s only natural that Michelle would make a cameo on the Hawaii-based TV show, Hawaii Five-O on CBS.
