Lydia Ko took the LPGA Tour by storm in 2012 when she became the youngest ever to win a LPGA event and won the CN Canadian Women’s Open at just 15 years old. She was able to defend her title at the same tournament a year later and shortly turned professional at the end of 2013. A week ago, Lydia added another accomplishment to her resume when she became the number 1 women golfer in the world!
In a recent Morning Drive on Golf Channel, Charlie Rymer sat down with Lydia to discuss and reflect on her accomplishment of reaching number one in the Rolex World Rankings. Lydia also talks about what she’s working on in practice to keep getting better and her decision to not wear her signature glasses anymore! At just 17 years of age, Lydia Ko has certainly made a mark in the golf world and we are excited to see what the future holds for the number one women’s golfer in the world!
