Emmitt Smith is a pro football Hall of Famer who played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1990 to 2002. Having won 3 Super Bowls during his time as a Cowboy, Emmitt has been retired since 2005 and is now enjoying life after football. Aside from competing in Dancing with the Stars, Emmitt is also an avid golfer and he was able to show his stuff during the ProAm of the Waste Management Phoenix Open!
With Super Bowl XLIX being held on the same weekend as the Waste Management Phoenix Open, many NFL players made an appearance at the Stadium Course in TPC Scottsdale, including a few members of the Seattle Seahawks. Emmitt Smith participated in the ProAm and was paired up with Rickie Fowler. Golfing World was also able to catch up with the NFL legend to have a chat with him. Although Emmitt is quite the skilled golfer, he has a great attitude towards the sport of golf and certainly sounds like a man who has been humbled by the sport more than a few times!
