This year, the US Open travels to the Pacific Northwest for the first time in its history. The tournament will be held at Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington but this course may offer a different look than what people might expect from an US Open course!
With its fescue grass, Chambers Bay is a true links course. In this episode of Golf Channel’s Morning Drive, we hear from golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr, who considers Chambers Bay his pride and joy! Make sure to check out our Facebook album from our visit to the 2015 US Open venue!
