After exciting tournaments in Abu Dhabi and Qatar, the European Tour completes its “Desert Swing” this week with The Omega Dubai Desert Classic. Scotland’s Stephen Gallacher is aiming for three wins in a row in this prestigious tournament. Rory McIlroy will also be looking to win this week and end his runner-up streak – he’s finished in second place in his last three starts on the European Tour.
Rory definitely seems to play well during the Desert Swing. Earlier in the week, he teed it up at the Yas Links Golf Course while tkaing part of in the Abu Dhabi Invitational Pro-Am. That event aimed to help raise funds for the Rashid Center for the Disabled.
