The golf ball is the one piece of equipment that you use on every single golf shot. Golfers get really worked up with their golf clubs and getting properly fit, but playing the right golf ball for your game is just as important. There is a lot of science that goes into the development of a golf ball – especially with the “Number 1 Ball in Golf,” the Titleist Pro V1.
We got an inside look with Titleist and Billy Horschel earlier in the year at their golf ball research and development. In the video above, Team Titleist catches up with Nick Nardacci, Titleist Senior Manager of Product Development – Aerodynamics, to find out more about the golf ball – why they have dimples and why dimples are so important. You’ll learn the role dimples play in the overall performance of a golf ball and even get to watch some golf ball testing in action. Take a look!
