Turkish Airlines and the European Tour sure know how to throw opening events for a golf tournament. Ahead of the 2014 Turkish Airlines Open, the third leg of the European Tour’s Finals Series, we saw Henrik Stenson, Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood hit golf shots out of the 2,000 year old Aspendos Amphitheatre, but Martin Kaymer and defending champion Victor Dubuisson also had their own opening tournament event, the Maxx Royal Target Challenge.
Martin Kaymer is the defending “Maxx Royal Target Challenge Champion” and he took on Turkish Airlines Open defending champion Victor Dubuisson. Both golfers treated guests who gathered at The Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort to a spectacular evening with firework displays and golf trick shots!
