It’s that time of the year when the world’s best golfers spend a couple of weeks over in Asia to grow the sport of golf and play in some of the strongest field tournaments. It all started last week when the PGA TOUR hosted the CIMB Classic in Malaysia; the European Tour hosted the BMW Masters in Shanghai; and the LPGA TOUR hosted the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship in Taiwan. In addition to these tournaments, fun events such as the World Celebrity Pro-Am and Rose-Poulter Match Play also took place to grow the sport of golf.
This week, many of the world’s best will be teeing it up at Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai, China for the WGC-HSBC Champions. This will be the final tournament on the PGA TOUR’s Asian swing with 40 of the top 50 in the official World Golf Rankings in the field.
Many will be making their season debut at this tournament including Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson, Martin Kaymer and Adam Scott. In the video above, watch as we hear from some of the world’s best about the WGC-HSBC Champions and get a preview of the tournament!
