The Open Championship is the oldest major championship in golf and one that many professional golfers covet. This past year, we experienced the tradition of The Open Championship at Royal Liverpool Golf Club (Hoylake) where Rory McIlroy won his first ever Open Championship title. It was our first ever major championship experience, but definitely not our last as we will be attending the 2015 US Open at Chambers Bay Golf Course in Tacoma, Washington!
We also got to visit the host of the 2015 Open Championship, the Old Course at St. Andrews, this past summer before dropping by Liverpool. And with one of the most historic tournaments in golf returning to The Home Of Golf, you can be sure it’s going to be a very special week. Rory McIlroy will hope to defend his title at a course that he’s grown to love.
