Team Europe’s victory at the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles is its seventh victory in the past nine competitions. This has not sat well with the Americans and as a result, an 11-member Task Force has been created to address this issue.
The newly formed Ryder Cup Task Force will consist of past captains, PGA of America officials and players, highlighted by Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. We have already looked ahead to possible captains in the 2016 Ryder Cup at Hazeltine National in Minneapolis.
In this ‘Inside the Game’ feature from Golfing World, we hear from Derek Sprague, Vice President of the PGA of America, as he explains the objective and future of this Task Force and what lies ahead for Ryder Cup Team USA!
