Japan is a country where fashion pushes the limits – it is one of the most daring and fashion forward places in the world. This sense of fashion definitely translates onto the golf course as well. For example, one of the most famous Japanese golfers is also one of the PGA Tour’s best dressed – Ryo Ishikawa. Everything is matched with precision, including the little details and accessories.
We’ve featured several Japanese lines of apparel in our publication, most recently, Adidas Golf Style AW 2014, Ashworth Japan SS 2014 and Callaway Apparel. In this article, we take a closer look at the Ashworth Golf Japan Autumn Winter 2014 collection.
As you can see from the photos, the Ashworth Japan collection is vastly different than what you would find in North America – very strong, bold patterns and colours are featured as well as a combination of a variety of accessories such as high socks, trendy headwear and more. The collection combines the classic Ashworth look to the fashion forward tastes of Japan with bright reds, oranges and purples as well as tartan, plaid and tweed patterns. You can still match this collection to the Ashworth Encinitas and Kingston footwear line.
It’s very interesting to see the different fashion collections throughout the world, but one thing is for sure, all golfers seem to be going for the more fitted and athletic look! Make sure to check out the rest of the Ashworth Golf Japan Autumn Winter 2014 collection lookbook here!
