We are now onto the second week of the 2014-2015 PGA Tour season after an exciting finish at the Frys.com Open! Although we are in the midst of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda, most of the players are preparing for the upcoming Shriners Hospitals for Children Open held at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas.
The Shriners Hospitals for Children Open has a legacy of first time winners, including Tiger Woods in 1996 and Jim Furyk as well! In its 30 year history, 9 players have made their breakthrough in this tournament, the most recent being Kevin Na.
With 21 rookies among the 50 PGA Tour cards earned through the Web.com Tour, there will be plenty of new faces this week in Las Vegas and we could possibly see another breakthrough win at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open!
