Martin Kaymer had a strong 2014 season, winning The Players at TPC Sawgrass and the 114th US Open Championship at the restored Pinehurst No.2. In addition to his two victories, Martin was also a part of the winning European Ryder Cup team at Gleneagles in Scotland. With these victories on his golf resume, you can be sure that Martin’s putting was a strength and we get the opportunity to hear from Martin talk about his preparation with the flat stick!
As a brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz Golf, Martin is featured in this segment of Masterclass. Martin has made a few huge putts in his career, perhaps the most memorable putt was at the 2012 Ryder Cup, where Team Europe completed the comeback at the Miracle at Medinah!
In recent memory, Martin also made a long, breaking putt to save par on the famed 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass to hold on to his one shot lead over Jim Furyk this past year. Have a listen as Martin explains what he does to warm-up on the putting green before a round!
