The PGA Tour season seem to have just ended but the 2014-2015 season gets underway this week at the Frys.com Open at Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California. This is the first of 47 FedEx Cup tournaments scheduled for this season and five golfers who made it to the 2014 Tour Championship will be in the field!
The players will take on the North Course this week, an 18-hole par 72 course that was designed by Robert Trent-Jones and renovated in 2011 by Johnny Miller. This challenging course will feature picturesque Californian scenery, with holes routing through oak, pine and redwood trees while also taking the players through elevation changes and dozens of water crossings as well.
21 rookies are among the 50 PGA Tour cards earned through the Web.com Tour last season and some of them will be making their debuts this week. Take a look at the video below to see some of the new faces that will be on the PGA Tour this season, including Canadians Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor!
