The Callaway Mack Daddy 2 wedges, designed by Roger Cleveland, were a huge success when originally released last year and are some of the best in the market right now. For the tour player though, the original Mack Daddy 2 just looked a little bit off – Callaway saw that many of their staff players came in to get these wedges customized.
Seeing this was the case, Callaway released the Callaway Mack Daddy 2 Tour Grind wedge, with a tour-validated C-grind sole design as well as straighter leading edges and higher peaked toes than the original designs. The result is a wedge that goes straight into the bag of Callaway’s staff players! The MD2 Tour Grind was definitely inspired by the tour players themselves as well as its predecessor, the X Forged wedge.
