The hero of the Miracle at Medinah in the 2012 Ryder Cup was Martin Kaymer, who despite some inconsistent play during that season, came through in the clutch to sink a putt to attain the clinching point! As a member of the 2014 European Ryder Cup team, things are a lot different for Martin. Martin is coming off a very successful season, having won The Players at TPC Sawgrass and the US Open at the restored Pinehurst No.2.
In the 2014 Ryder Cup, Martin Kaymer won 2 out of a possible 4 points, including a 4&2 victory over Bubba Watson in the Sunday Single’s matches. As a Mercedes Benz brand ambassador, Martin Kaymer sat down with Mercedes Benz TV to share what it means to him to be part of another winning European Ryder Cup team and what an experience it was to be playing in the Ryder Cup with a home field advantage!
