It’s Ryder Cup week and players have started to arrive at Gleneagles to prepare for this week’s matches. On paper, Team Europe definitely looks like they have the advantage with World Number 1 Rory McIlroy (who won The Open Championship and PGA Championship) as well as four of the top five players in the official golf world ranking.
Team Europe also includes two-time Ryder Cup winner, Martin Kaymer, who sank the winning putt two years ago at Medinah, won The 2014 Players Championship as well as the 2014 US Open at Pinehurst No. 2 – he’s definitely had a lot of success this year. That makes three out of four Majors in 2014 for Team Europe! In the video above, Mercedes Benz golf catches up with Kaymer as he explains how his experience playing at Celtic Manor and Medinah, as well as joining Sir Nick Faldo’s team in 2008 at Valhalla, could prove the difference when he faces his opponents this weekend.
