Victor Dubuisson of France might not be the most recognizable name in golf, but if you watched the WGC-Matchplay Championship earlier in 2014, you definitely saw the golfing ability of this young Frenchman. Although Jason Day eventually won that tournament, the spotlight was definitely on Dubuisson and his remarkable escape from the cacti…twice! It’s definitely a pair of recovery shots that will be on a Top 10 list for a long time.
Dubuisson will be a Ryder Cup rookie, but with that experience during the Matchplay event, we’re sure he’s ready for anything that comes his way! He got his maiden victory at the 2013 Turkish Airlines Open and also had Top 10 finishes in the 2014 Open Championship and PGA Championship, both won by teammate Rory McIlroy. He’ll hope to continue this strong play into Gleneagles – take a look at the video above for some of his career highlights and credentials!
