It seems like the 2014 PGA TOUR season just ended, but we’re already preparing for the 2014-2015 season, with the Frys.Com Open from October 9 – 12, 2014. It’s part of the new wrap-around season format that the PGA TOUR started last year – FedEx Cup points start counting immediately.
Players fight for FedEx Cup points in order to get into the Playoffs at the end of the year. The four events during the Playoffs include the Barclays Championship, Deutsche Bank Championship, BMW Championship and the TOUR Championship.
