With the Ryder Cup just around the corner, former European Ryder Cup player and captain Sam Torrance has made quite a few public appearances lately. He appeared as a guest on Feherty a few weeks ago and also made a cameo on CNN Living Golf, giving us an overview of Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course with Curtis Strange!
We learned about Rory McIlroy’s best shot in “My Best Shot” feature from Golfing World a few weeks ago. In the newest episode of this feature, Sam Torrance makes an appearance and goes back to the 1983 Ryder Cup during his singles match against American Tom Kite. Although it was over 20 years ago, Sam talks about it like it was just yesterday!
