CNN Living Golf looked ahead to the 2014 Ryder Cup a few days ago, hearing from the Captains, Tom Watson of Team USA and Paul McGinley of Team Europe. The rivalry of the Ryder Cup was also explored and we hear from members of both teams in Martin Kaymer and Rickie Fowler as well! In the last segment of this CNN Living Golf series, we get a sneak peek at the venue of the 2014 Ryder Cup, Gleneagles PGA Centenary Course, designed by the Golden Bear Jack Nicklaus.
Shane O’Donoghue of CNN Living Golf speaks with PGA Head Golf Professional at Gleneagles Andrew Jowett, who shows us the main characteristics of the golf course. Not only does the course have risk and reward holes but it also has great viewing areas and a dramatic finishing stretch that makes it an ideal venue for the Ryder Cup. We also get a treat as former Ryder Cup captains Curtis Strange and Sam Torrance drops by and give their two cents about Gleneagles!
