We are all familiar with the Long Drive competition and although less known, there is a competition for women as well. Canadian Lisa ‘Longball’ Vlooswyk was a former school teacher and discovered her freakish ability to hit the golf ball a long way in her early 20s.
Lisa is now a seven time Canadian long drive champion and is currently ranked number 4 in the world for the longest drive! Ahead of the Champions Tour Shaw Charity Classic in Calgary, Global News spoke to Lisa ‘Longball’ Vlooswyk as she shares how she hits the ball such a long way!
