Nike Golf made a big splash last week when they revealed their new Vapor irons at Liberty National Golf Club. Their two biggest stars, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, also made their media rounds including a late night appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show! One of those media rounds was with Bloomberg’s Erik Schatzker, who not only spoke with Tiger Woods but also Nike Golf President Cindy Davis.
Tiger Woods, who recently announced ending his professional relationship with swing coach Sean Foley, spoke on his injury and how it has delayed him from testing the Vapor irons and putting it in his bag. Tiger and Cindy Davis also also gave their thoughts on the state of golf and how it can be made “cool” with the younger generation. Perhaps, technology such as Arccos Golf may help but it’s certainly interesting to hear the opinions of Tiger Woods and the President of Nike Golf!
