Gary Player: 3 Tips to Improve Golf Game

Gary Player is known for his remarkable fitness and was even featured in the ESPN Body Issue last year. He was a pioneer in combining weight training and fitness into the sport of golf – by keeping your body fit, you would be able to perform at the highest level. Mr. Player has won 165 tournaments on six continents over six decades (nine Majors) and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974.

In the video above, he shares his three tips to improve your game. The first is to practice your putting and your shots from 100 yards in. Number two is to watch Rory McIlroy and Jason Day – emulate the balance in their swing. The last is speed – every shot requires speed! Take a look and hear from the Black Knight himself!
