This week is the beginning of the FedEx Cup Playoffs at The Barclays Championship. Paired together the first two days were two of the most powerful players in the sport – Rory McIlroy and Bubba Watson. The video above definitely proves that there is no one “right” way to hit a golf ball!
Rory McIlroy definitely has one of the most powerful and beautiful swings in the sport of golf. His dedication to fitness definitely helps to keep his swing balanced and powerful. Earlier in the year, he hit an amazing 436-yard drive at the Scottish Open and even test out his
Bubba Watson on the other hand is a golfer who has a home-grown golf swing and known to be “Bubba Long.” This swing though allowed him to win two Green Jackets as well as other tournaments as well. It’s amazing the way that he can shape his shots – we had the opportunity to watch him play live at The Open Championship and it was amazing to see his ball flight in person.
