Phil Mickelson has one of the best short games in golf and his aggressive style has rightly earned him the nickname “Phil the Thrill!” It’s his playing style that has endeared him to fans worldwide, regardless of result. We can all recall the 2006 US Open at Winged Foot that ended terribly for Phil however, his second shot on the 13th hole in the 2010 Masters was also memorable because of how incredible it was!
Today, in the second round of The Barclays, Phil the Thrill showed up once again after missing his drive left on the par 4, 5th hole. The ball landed in the hospitality area and instead of taking a drop, Phil played the ball where it lied. Watch the highlight above to see how it all unfolded!
