Old Tom Morris was a pioneer in the sport of golf and played a large part in the development of professional golf, golf course design and greenkeeping innovations. He was born, raised and died in St. Andrews, the home of golf. Across from the 18th green of The Old Course stands to this day, his workshop where he developed golf equipment, which he opened in 1866. It is the oldest golf shop in the world and has since been carefully restored to the flagship Tom Morris brand.

The Tom Morris brand offers premium men’s clothing inspired by the heritage of Tom Morris and designed with his extraordinary achievements and charismatic personality in mind. The brand is much more than a golf brand, but also a lifestyle brand that delivers fashionable, wearable clothes for on and off the golf course. We’ve featured the spring and summer 2014 collection earlier in the year and today, we’re featuring their autumn and winter 2014 collection.

The autumn winter 2014 collection uses a controlled, colourful palette featuring tonal combinations of russets, vintage indigos and neutrals. The collection has a relaxed feel, using subtle garment washes and soft constructions throughout the collection’s knitwear, outerwear, chinos, shirts and accessories. Keeping with Tom Morris’ commitment to British design, hertiage and innovation, the Knitwear features everything from lightweight 14gg Merino/Cotton to Made in Scotland Fair Isle and cashmere cables to tweed effect button shoulder crew necks and heavy weight shawl cardigans. Wools feature in the quilted blazer, a Made in England double face peacoat and wool down jacket. Nylons are utilised in the reversible quilted vest and the tweed effect waterproof.
