This past Tuesday at the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, many Tour Pros went out for their practice rounds. But for the first time since 1985, the PGA brought back the Long Drive Competition to the PGA Championship on the 10th hole! This event certainly brought a lot of fun to the players and the fans and to top it all of, the Long Drive Competition is for charity as well!
The Golden Bear Jack Nicklaus won the PGA Championship Long Drive Competition twice, including his first time in 1963 when he hit a drive 341 yards with a persimmon driver. Who’s your pick to win this Long Drive Competition? We’ll give a hint; he also won the Mercedes-Benz AMG Simulator competition!
