The 2014 season may be nearing its end as we get ready for the year’s final Major Championship but golf manufacturers are still hard at work. Not to be outdone by Nike and its MM Proto Irons, Taylormade announced the release of their SLDR White Tour Heads today!
Retailing at $500 USD, the Taylormade SLDR White Tour Heads is available in limited numbers and comes in both 430 and 460cc. The main difference from the standard SLDR head is its weight, with the SLDR Tour driver head weighing approximately 7 grams lighter. This is to compensate for the typical Tour pro’s preference for a heavier driver shaft. The toe plate of the driver is also screwed into its head, which is specific to Tour.
