On August 4th, Nike Golf released the new MM Proto Irons in limited availability. These irons were designed exclusively for the tour and was developed collaboratively by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and the engineers at The Oven, Nike Golf’s R&D Facility and Tour Shop.
Champion Golfer of the Year and WGC-Bridgestone Invitational winner Rory McIlroy even had one in his bag at Royal Liverpool! Only 40 sets will be available to the public, with custom options available, including personal stamping. Each set of irons will also have the Oven Logo and individual numbering laser-engraved into the clubs.
If you are fortunate enough to have reserved a set of Nike MM Proto Irons, your reservation will also include an one-to-one concierge service with a Nike Golf club expert. This set of irons will cost $1,500 USD but it’s not something that money can buy as these irons are already sold out. Perhaps, one will be made available in the aftermarket but we wouldn’t get our hopes up!
