After winning the 143rd Open Championship last week at Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Rory McIlroy and his friends have been on their victory tour and celebrating with the famous Claret Jug! Rory’s victory / media tour took him home to Belfast, Northern Ireland where he met up with Northern Ireland’s First Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness at the Stormont Castle.
Unfortunately, the Claret Jug was not with Rory as he admitted that the Claret Jug “needs a clean” after a few nights of celebrating. We know that Jägermeister was poured into the famed chalice but we can only guess what else was drank out of the Claret Jug that required it for a cleaning!
