Ashworth Golf continues their Ashworth Major Championship Series Golf Polos. We’ve already seen the Masters edition (featuring Fred Couples) as well as the US Open editions (featuring Justin Rose and Retief Goosen) and this week ahead of the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool (Hoylake) Golf Club, they’ve introduced their latest line of commemorative polos.
These two polos have been inspired by inspired by The Open Championship victories of Stewart Cink (2009) and Justin Leonard (1997). Premium fabrics and unique contrast threads are utilized throughout to ensure a piece distinctly representative of each player and their victories. Each shirt in the series is individually numbered inside of the placket, with the total quantity produced matching the winning player’s total score. Like previous editions, these polos will have limited offerings!
Cink’s limited-edition piece, limited to 278 total units, features his signature embroidered inside the back neck, contrast threading and piping, the historic date of his major championship stamped on the second placket button and the unique Ashworth Majors Series patch on the right sleeve.
Leonard’s commemorative shirt is limited to 272 units, matching his winning score at The Open Championship in 1997. Including design elements similar to Cink’s golf shirt, Leonard’s limited-edition piece has his embroidered signature in the back neck, contrast threading and piping, a left chest pocket, the date of his major championship victory stamped on the second placket button and the Ashworth Majors Series patch on the right sleeve.
Both Cink and Leonard will wear their special-designed golf shirts during first round play at the 143rd Open Championship at Royal Liverpool. Available in limited quantities, the Stewart Cink and Justin Leonard commemorative Ashworth Majors Series golf shirts will be available exclusively at ashworthgolf.com at an MSRP of $100 USD.
