The year’s third Major Championship is almost upon us as players get ready for the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool Golf Club Hoylake this year! Royal Liverpool is the second-oldest seaside links golf course in England and last hosted the Open Championship in 2006, won by Tiger Woods. With Tiger Woods having made his return at the Quicken Loans National tournament, it is optimistic that Tiger will also play in the year’s third Major!
Regardless of his participation, players will face a slightly different course at Royal Liverpool than in 2006 and preparations have long been underway! Take a look at the hole-by-hole preview below from Golf Monthly to see what challenges the players will face in this year’s Open Championship!
