The Open Championship returns to Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Hoylake in two weeks. This will be the first time the Open Championship returns to Royal Liverpool since 2006, when Tiger Woods won an emotional tournament after his father’s passing. There has been much preparation for the tournament given the long duration since the Open was last held at Hoylake.
Tiger’s victory was the first Open at Hoylake since 1967, where Roberto De Vicenzo becomes the first Argentinean to win The Open. Have a look at the highlights from both the 1967 and 2006 Open Championships!
