Women’s golf is in a great place these days, with young stars Michelle Wie, Lexi Thompson and Lydia Ko highlighting the LPGA Tour. An 11 year old also made her mark at the US Women’s Open recently at Pinehurst No.2! Not to be forgotten though is Paula Creamer, who’s a fan favourite among the fans.
With two of the five Major Championships in women’s golf out of the way in 2014, we look ahead to the year’s third Major, the Ricoh Women’s British Open held at Royal Birkdale Golf Club from July 10th to 13th. Golfing World caught up with Paula Creamer as they look ahead to the Ricoh Women’s British Open.
With Paula’s work ethic, we know she’ll be prepared but considering her caddy and coach are also English, perhaps she has a bit of local knowledge advantage in England! She has finished third in the Women’s British Open twice but this time around, she hopes to improve on her performance and win it all!
