The first two episodes of Mizuno Masterclass featured Luke Donald and Chris Wood, both of whom gave us great insight into the thought process of a professional golfer. Luke Donald shared his swing change experience with us while Chris Wood took us through his preparation for a tricky par 3 at Bearwood Lakes GC!
In the third installment of Mizuno Masterclass, Dutch golfing prodigy Daan Huizing take us through his own preparation for a par 3! Daan had a wonderful amateur career in which he won the St. Andrews Links Trophy in record fashion by shooting a record 264, 24-under par!
With nothing else to prove as an amateur, Daan turned professional in 2012 and won in his first year at the Northern Ireland Open Challenge and at the Kharkov Superior Cup. This propelled him to sixth place in the Challenge Tour standings, earning him a spot on the European Tour for 2014!
Daan is certainly a young golfer with a huge upside and better things are surely ahead of him. It’d be wise to have a listen on how he approaches a golf hole and how it compares to his Mizuno teammate Chris Wood!
