Perhaps the biggest news the came out last week was when Tiger Woods announced via Facebook that he will be making his return to competitive golf after back surgery in late March. The tournament that he will be returning to is the Quicken Loans National at Congressional Country Club, a tournament that benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation.
Tiger admitted that if it wasn’t for his foundation, he would probably not tee it up this week. However, Congressional Country Club is a challenging golf course with treeline fairways, rolling terrain, wide challenging greens and plays over 7,500 yards! This tough test will surely be a good tuneup for Tiger and other professionals as they prepare for the Open Championship at Royal Liverpool! We are sure all eyes will be on Tiger when he tees it up today at 8:12 pm ET with Jason Day and Jordan Spieth!
