Mizuno Japan Pro TN-87

Mizuno Golf makes some of the finest equipment in all of golf, particularly with their Grain Flow Forging Process. They sponsor some of the world’s best golfers including World Number 1 Stacy Lewis and former World Number 1 Luke Donald. Earlier this year, we saw the introduction of beautiful Mizuno MP-4 and MP-54 irons – today, Mizuno Japan re-introduced their classic Mizuno Pro TN-87 irons.

The Mizuno Pro TN-87 irons were originally released in 1988. The “TN” stands for Tommy Nakashima, who at one point was the number 1 player on the JPGA Tour. These irons are considered to be some of the best shaped and best feeling irons ever made by Mizuno. Orders will be taken for the revival of this classic iron set until July 31, 2014 and will be released January 2015. The set is Made In Japan and will be sold as a 10-piece set (3-PW, AW, SW) with Dynamic Gold steel shafts (S200). A unique name plate with your name on it will also be included. The price for such exclusivity is JPY 410,400, or roughly USD $4,033!

This set of irons consist of a copper under layer below a nickel chrome mirror finish and is made of mild steel (S25CM). Because of it’s limited offering, you will have to buy the set as is and will not have the option of customizing it to your specifications.
