Heading into the final round of the 2014 Travelers Championship, the leaderboard was very crowded at the top. Ryan Moore had the lead but there were also twelve players who were within three shots of him. In the end, none of those players won the tournament as Kevin Streelman rallied in the back 9 at TPC River Highlands for seven straight birdies to win the Travelers Championship by one shot!
Aside from winning the tournament, Kevin also broke the PGA Tour record for consecutive closing birdies by a winner and also tied the tournament record with a 7-under 28 on the final nine holes. Kevin’s final round 64 included 10 straight one putts as well but as seen from the highlights, it looks like his ball striking was just as impressive in his amazing comeback victory!
